An organization strategic planning process is having below phases:

Determine the Planning Process: This is the first step of an organization planning process. It is crucially evaluates the purpose of strategic planning, duration of the plan and Budget and other resources available for this process.

Information Gathering: It involves gathering the data from variable sources like Stakeholder analysis, Internal/External Environment and SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis.

Identifying Strategic Issues Facing an Organization: From the collected and evaluated data, identifies the strategic issues faced by an organization.

Clarify Organization's Vision, Mission and Values: Once you identify the strategic issues, then you clarify clearly about the organization's mission, vision and values.

Develop Goals and Strategies: From the above points, strategic planning team decides the specific priorities. These strategic goals and choices help the organization to make more effective with sound policies.

Business Plan: The business plan of an organization supports the strategic plan, by making available sufficient resources for the strategic planning process and for its implementation. The strategic implementation team requires technology, personnel, travel, marketing, etc, over short and/or long term periods.

Implementation of the Strategic Plan in Large Organizations: Once you complete the strategic plan report with nessacary reviews, then actions should be incorporated into the Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) of the Manager. These actions become part of the staff's roles for implementation.
