Financial aid requirements

The eligibility of Financial Aid determined by the students' acceptable academic record. There are is a mechanism of three tools for an acceptable academic record which is qualitative, quantitative and maximum time frame. The qualitative mechanism refers to the number of credit hours attempted. To receive all the Financial Aid requirements, the students need to check with the financial aid lender of a particular school.

Every school and colleges will have their own requirements of Financial Aid, some of them are most important to be full filled by the applicant. The student must have enough classes to be considered for Financial Aid Eligibility. The course method may be part time, half time, 3/4 time or full time and the amount of financial aid will be based on the course. Every listed college of the university will be having its own deadlines for filing and submitting the Financial Aid Applications. The application deadlines are different from the submitting deadlines. Before the deadlines, the applicants need to complete the formalities of student aid requirements.

Each of the applicants needs to scrutinize the required documents by accessing the student's account followed by the "My Requirements and Eligibility" page. This web page checks whether the student enclosed the list of documents in an order not. Some of the enclosed documents need to send for review process before they submitted. For further information students can enquire with the Financial Aid Office.

Student Loan Counseling

All the students who wish to apply for a Federal Direct Stafford Loan for 2008-2009 must filled the form of the Direct Loan Entrance Counseling. The meeting schedules will be intimated to the students through e mails.

Promissory Notes

All the students who wish to apply for a Federal Direct Stafford Loan for 2008-2009 must filled the form of Direct Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN), which is valid for up to 10 years.

Financial Aid Notification

All the applicants will be intimated by the Student Financial Services Office, if they are eligible for financial aid award. Students need to fill some forms of financial aid for further process of Financial Aid. The First-time applicants will be sending the award notification to their residence. This will offer the Account PIN needed to log in to their on line account.

Eligibility Requirements in a glance:

Should be admitted for an eligible program.

Should be enrolled at least half-time

Should have a high school diploma, GED, or a passing "ability to benefit" test result

Should be a US citizen with a valid social security number, if a non-citizen applies he/she should have either of green card and social security card.

Should be registered for Selective Service if male and age 18-25

Must comply with State's academic progress standards

Should register for at least six hours per semester
