These areas can further be divided as follow -

1. Housing Conditions - The concept of house in civilization has changed drastically. Earlier, in villages, there were mostly kuchcha houses with a few exceptions of brick houses. People had very little requirements in and around the house. They were satisfied with the four-wall concept where they could sit, relax, fight, sleep, produce, rear children, protect themselves from natural disasters and so on. Subsequently as civilization grew, there is a drastic change in the housing condition. After approximately one hundred years of Le Courvorsier, the greatest architect of the 20th century who is the architect of the planned city of Chandigarh (Punjab), the least effect has been observed on the Indian sub-continent because of many reasons including financial constraints and broad exposure. Good housing facilities were limited to a few elite who dared to drain their money for a good life-style in spite of the brain drain in the country. The housing condition has changed almost unimaginably.

2. Living Circumstances - Living conditions in the agricultural era and the industrial revolution era was entirely different from the todays world when you have all the basics of living available at your doorsteps at a cost which many can afford. Life has become too comfortable. You have electricity in the house and electrical appliances in the kitchen, like microwave oven, electrical rice cooker, cooker, toaster, mixer, grinder etc. It does not matter whether you are backward, forward, scheduled tribe, scheduled caste or belonging to any human species. Every person can have these basics in their house. Any one can have a comfortable life. One has to get used to enjoy these privileges.

3. Eating Habits - The age old eating options are changing because of availability and affordability. Today, McDonnell is ready to offer meals at Rs. 20 and ice-cream at Rs. 7. The old thinking of cost and the categorizing particular food for high class people are not going to work anymore. The old eating habits of litti, sattu or onion have to chnage. These have to be replaced with the bread, burgers, pizzas and so on. Chicken-roast, fish-fingers, paneer-tikka etc have to come on the everyday menu. Bread and omelet have to be considered for breakfast because of its standard constituents. We must consider the packed-food culture so that our ladies can be more productive than just cooking in the house.

4. Family Structure - The family setup has to be restructured to harness the benefit of the growth of civilization. All educated and independent people from the developed world or even the developing world have adopted new family setups quietly for betterment. The poor and backward people have remained way behind with the burden of the social structure. Even the educated, at times, have not been able to digest new changes. The female constituting fifty percent of the population has remained deprived of the basics of life in the existing family setup. Such a self-defeating setup has to be discarded for the betterment of humanity. People have to unlearn the old and traditional ways of handling this at home.

5. Longevity of life - Life expectancy has changed. People used to retire at the age of fifty eight or sixty. They used to feel exhausted to do any constructive work after that. But now with better living conditions, things are changing. Life expectancy has increased. A whole new life starts after retirement.

6. Medical and Health Care - The kind of medical facilities available to humans of today are wonderful. A whole lot of new medical facilities have emerged. Earlier people had different kinds of diseases. The kind of vaccines which have been developed and utilized by the people of this generation are unimaginable.

7. Kind of education - Today with all the multimedia skill sets, you need a different kind of education. Life is fun and education must be focused on enhancing fun rather than making a school or education a prison. The depth of any subject you choose has increased tremendously. You as a human cannot go on learning to enhance your capabilities for a better life. There is no end of information or even knowledge to acquire in this information era. Today, you need to get educated to have a good and enjoyable life. Schooling is becoming a thing of the past.

8. Professional Options - The horizon of professions has altered drastically. The technological and economic changes have made profession a different domain altogether. A few years ago when beauty shops came in the limelight, hardly anybody had an idea, it would emerge as such a big profession. Today it has matured. Many ladies and gents are working in these shops. Similarly, other professions like modeling, stewardship, journalism, fashion designing, entrepreneurship, catering and hospitality management, tourism jobs, services industries and so on have emerged.

9. Transportation Facilities - The invention of flying machines changed the way humans traveled. It took more than hundred years for people to get used to flying habits which means it took a few generations of human beings to get used to flying options. But the kind of economic changes taking place in society today or is going to take place in the years to come, especially for the developing world, people young, old, male or female, will have to change their traveling habits quickly and fast to enjoy the fruits of development around the world.

10. Mode of Communication - Just a few years ago there were hardly any communications facilities to the people of the developing world. Today, the scenario has changed. It is going to change further. Initially, STD/ISD booths came up. People took some time to adjust and realise the changes. The types of communication which have emerged in the last few decades have been phenomenal.

11. Means of Entertainment - The kind of entertainment facilities that have been made available to the people means that they have to forget the old and traditional ways of entertainment. There are plenty of new facilities available like television, music systems, computer games, mobile games, video games and so on. The DVD player, CD player, MP3 and multimedia have revolutionized the concept of entertainment. Channels have surpassed the capacity of perception of normal human beings to view these kinds of transmissions.

12. Breaking of National Border - The changes in society have forced the people to move all across the world to get some occupation. A person from the USA moves to the Indian sub-continent to get greener pastures. They get the basic facilities of life. They get sufficient money to lead a comfortable life-style. They do not think much about ancestral place. Attachment to the birth place is diminishing. The attraction of the native place is vanishing.

13. Breaking of Languages - There was a huge discussion in all the institutions across India earlier whether we should study English or not. Even today, there is great confusion prevailing in India in particular and other developing nations in general. The people have been given a dose of nationalism in terms of languages. But how far is it advantageous Is it in a position to give you comfort of knowledge Is it giving you a better life You join any professional Institute; you are forced to study in English.

14. Social Compulsions - Social compulsions are forcing individuals to amend their ways to live. Just a few years back, the people were getting their children married in nearby villages, town or cities. They had the comfort of easy and reliable interaction between families. They could not have luxury to move, interact or communicate at farther distances.

15. Methods of Governance - The world has passed through phases to reach a civilized one. We have come a long way from jungle culture to civilized culture. Today, we have more respect for individuals than at any time in history. The country prospers and develops based on the respect and contribution of every individual.

A proper understanding of these needs ensure much clear and simple life. The success becomes the integral part. students must concentrate on these needs.
